Shop.around

to shop or not to shop That is the question. I guess every woman likes to shop, with very little exception. Surely I am not the exception here. Luckily there are a great number of shopping centers or factory outlets (FO) around the city. My favorite in city is Rumah Mode in northern Bandung.

weekends I wish I could go out every weekend. But that does not seem to be practical due to traffic jam. Too many cars (many of them from Jakarta) with so little space for roads.  The city needs a reliable MRT soon before it is too late.

about me

I love to read. Literally any good readings will do. From chick-lits to rather serious novels. From international best-sellers to local literary. I thought Michael Crichton got a lot of entertaining imagination apart from being a very eloquent writer. Among other contemporary local writings, I like novels by Dee (Dewi Lestari)

wish.list

As a child, I never planned to be a doctor. When I grew up, shaped by my environment and life experience, it turned out that I in fact do not want to be a doctor. But somehow I ended up going to medical school and -after grueling years- earned the degree. Surely school have given me a lot of lessons. And friends too. After these years nevertheless, I found my self attracted to more art than science: architecture and interior design to be precise. I have taught myself from books and publications so far. I learned from precious experience, with passion you can achieve what you wish in life.

my.passion

I don't know when it started. But I tend to be all perfectionist about making up rooms, wardrobes, houses or everything. Well, if it helps, I am a libra. I really love to arrange all of things around my house:  placing sofas and tables, organizing bookshelf with hundreds of books, putting pictures on the walls, assembling nick-nacks, .... Do you know my favorite souvenir? Short glasses! I collected them all from places I have visited. That is also something I asked hubby to bring home when he traveled abroad. Ou, I love them!
